Training

How are we different? We are developing courses that:

  • Are Hands-on. To us this means participants actually spend more time on exercises than listening to presentations.
  • Are taught in small groups. We will try to limit our classes to 15 people and make sure to create a good social atmosphere in the group through activities outside the class.
  • Have room for questions. We will emphasize that the students ask questions throughout our courses. The ability to ask questions will extend into evening activities where students will be able to talk to the teachers in a casual atmosphere.
  • Have multiple teachers. Having more than one teacher will give the students more experience and perspective to draw from. It will also give each student more one-on-one teacher time.
  • Have an alumni mailing list. We will maintain an alumni mailing list for all our students where they can ask questions and share knowledge with each other.

Customized Training

Let us know if you need training on a specialized topic such as testing, deployment or JRuby. We can work with you to develop the material and format for such a course and deliver it either in your offices or at a conference facility.
